I’m Nicolas Takashi, welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m a software engineer obsessed with Observability and all the weird, brilliant things that happen when you collect way too much telemetry. These days I’m building and scaling observability platforms at Coralogix, but my journey started back in 2010 writing PHP and slowly wandering through different stacks, systems, and communities.

You’ll usually find me somewhere in the open-source world, contributing to projects like:

A few things about me outside of code:

• Born and raised in Brazil 🇧🇷, living in Portugal 🇵🇹 since 2017 — and loving the life here
• I travel whenever I can and genuinely enjoy meeting new people and cultures 🌍
• Coffee keeps me going ☕, but summer is beer season 🍺
• I lift weights 🏋️‍♂️ because my brain works better when my body does
• I’m a proud dad to Afonso 👦🏻
• Cars and road trips make me ridiculously happy 🚗🛣️
